      Unless you’re one of the millions of people who have killed or enslaved millions of people in the name of God because they read the part of their religious holy book that they believe gives them permission. Like islamic suicide bombers today, the millions of people who became slaves or by so-called Christian men, or men who felt they could abuse their wives because the bible says a man’s wife is his property. My philosophy is to treat people The way I want to be treated or to do unto others as they do unto you, I don’t need organised religion for that, some people do, do whatever works for you.

         Religion can be a scary thing when people use it to justify their own desires. A personal relationship with the creator of the universe, now that’s a different thing. In fact, your philosophy sounds a lot like what Jesus said, do unto others as you’d have them do unto you. If we all treated each other that way, it would be a different world.
