Twin brothers Qaadir Malik Lewis and Naazir Rahim Lewis, both 19, were found dead on Bell Mountain in Towns County, Georgia, on March 8, 2025. The cause of death has not yet been determined, but the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating.
The brothers were last seen alive on March 7, when they left their home in Lawrenceville, Georgia, to go hiking on Bell Mountain. They were reported missing when they did not return home that evening.
Their bodies were found by hikers the next day. The GBI has not released any further information about the case, but they are asking anyone with information to come forward.
The deaths of the Lewis brothers have shocked and saddened the community. Their family is asking for privacy at this time.
The official autopsy results are still pending. However, the GBI ruled the incident to be an alleged murder-suicide based on their preliminary investigation. The family of the teens say that is impossible considering the twins were inseparable and had no evident history of conflict, the family tells 11Alive.
